Get your victim's IP address
The links on this page has been temporarily taken offline due to high bandwidth usage.
I shall discuss here how to get someone's IP address. I often get e-mails from people across the world, asking how to get someone's public IP address. Let say you want to know person "A" IP address who often comes on chat rooms. Since, yahoo and most of the chat rooms hide the IP addresses of the clients, you send the person with the following link:
http://www.hackingspirits.com/hsp_cf/info.asp (Temporarily Un-available)
Now, you just have to try a little bit of social engineering. i.e Try to convince the victim to click on the above link. Once the victim clicks on the above link, he/she will be displayed with a page which shows:
"This link is undergoing maintenance. It would be active in couple of days. Sorry for your inconvenience."
By seeing this message the victim will think that the site is under maintenance. But at the same time the victim's IP address is logged. So you just have to go and check the IP address in the following link:
http://www.hackingspirits.com/hsp_cf/checkip.asp (Temporarily Un-available)
Listen, The time logged with IP address would be the server time of this site. So it may not match with your current time. So, to know the exact IP address logged, look for the server time. The current server's date and time are as follows:
Server Time: 7:59:46 AM
Server Date: 8/28/2008
